Set up in 1983 with an authorized capital of Rs. 20 million, it started with 3 people in a rented office in the national institute of health and family welfare in the year 1983.
At the time of the formation of HSCC medical hospital consultation services were not even thought about in the private sectors. India at that time needed quick modern machines and medicine. HSCC was one of the first companies to come up with such an idea and is now called the ‘’MINI RATNA’’ of India for deserving reasons.
Initially, in the year 1984, the company explored ONM for mobile hospitals in Saudi Arabia, supplying medical equipment to neighboring countries and designing and engineering services for hospitals, etc.
One of its first major projects was the designing of the hospital the government of India gifted Mauritius and soon after another one in Nepal (inaugurated by the president of India at that time)
All this laid the seeds for more work for HSCC and they started adding a vast range of professionals to their team such as health care planners, doctors, economists, biomedical engineers, computer experts, pharmacists, architects, and public health engineers.
As time went on HSCC was known as the one-stop-shop for medical facilities and healthcare-related matters.

IN conclusion, the past of India needed an intense need of medical facilities for the large mass of people and needed modern technologies which were emerging in the other countries.
HSCC incorporated in the early ’80s was among the 3-4 knowledge-based companies created by the government. During that period there was no agency accessible in the health care sector to receive any consultation services.
Hospital consultancy services had not been visualized even in the private sector it was at that point were HSCC emerged.
Starting with a team of 3 HSCC started getting immense popularity and profits creating a huge number of hospitals and helping millions of people not only in India but in other places as well.
